Well, another Slow Food Utah dinner at Rockhill has come and gone. It was a beautiful day spent with wonderful folks and fantastic food. Graham Hunter and Tim Vitale along with their better-halves and a lot of other fantastic help (including several of our friends and neighbors) put on another spectacular event. Like the first dinner two years ago, we had the folks that provided the ingredients come and explain their operations. This year that included two students from USU’s Organic Farm, Martin James and his wife from Slide Ridge Honey, Lori Anne Lau from Lau Family Farm all gave presentations on their respective operations. Martin not only brought honey for all, but brought his cool, see-through hive full of bees. While Jennifer and I gave tours of our operation, Graham, Tim and their gang brought everyone some wonderful appetizers. As usual, I forgot to take any pictures, but Christi Poulson sent us a few that she took. If anyone else shot some pictures, we would love to add a few to this post … so please email them to us. – PS
