We finally did it. We had a whole day off and took advantage of the gift passes that our friends at Deer Valley had sent us. We went to Salt Lake City on Tuesday evening, had a nice visit with our grand daughter — and her parents too. After a great night’s sleep we started the day at a leisurely pace and arrived at Deer Valley around 10 am. We spent the whole day enjoying great skiing, wonderful weather and spectacular scenery. We even got to visit with Jodi, Shayne and Andrew — a few of the chefs that come up each fall for a visit and to make cheese with us. And thanks to Tamra, we even had Wednesday evening’s milking off, so we were able to hang around for a little apres-ski action before coming home. A truly wonderful day. Thanks Deer Valley! —PS
