Isabelle & Iris

Yes. It’s been much too long since we’ve posted the latest news on the farm. We have no excuse except, like you, we have been busy enjoying this summer. But on to the business at hand ….

We have settled on names for our beautiful twin heifers. Thanks so much to everyone who sent in suggestions. Who knew there were so many “I” names? You had some wonderful ideas. A few of my favorites that we didn’t choose are Imogene, Ivy, and Jezebelle (love it!).

The two little ones are doing great. They are weaned now and have been moved out of their pens and into the pasture. They are hanging out, enjoying the beautiful weather and greeting visitors coming up the drive. —jh

About Pete

My wife and I own and operate Rockhill Creamery, a farmstead cheese business in the beautiful Cache Valley of Northern Utah. We have two children, both married and living in Salt Lake City. We were both newspaper people in our former lives, but decided to head down the agriculture path about 12 years ago.
