Larry’s New Camera

Our neighbor, Larry, stopped by last night. He brought us a CD with some pictures he had taken a few weeks back … when the new snow was still a novelty. He and Sue came down with some of Sue’s family visiting from Florida. Her nephew had only seen snow once before in all his years. Anyway, Larry was busy clicking away as the kids played with Taya. And as anyone knows who has met Taya, she never tires of playing with a tennis ball.

It was one of those perfect, late-fall days—clear and crisp. And the cows were all in their nap-time zone. Ingrid had to come over and check out the action along the canal, but soon seemed to fall asleep on her feet.

Thanks for the nice pictures, Larry. We hope to see more soon.—PS

About Pete

My wife and I own and operate Rockhill Creamery, a farmstead cheese business in the beautiful Cache Valley of Northern Utah. We have two children, both married and living in Salt Lake City. We were both newspaper people in our former lives, but decided to head down the agriculture path about 12 years ago.
