Thanksgiving @ Rockhill

We had a busy week here at Rockhill. Clara gave birth to twins on Tuesday. Thursday was Thanksgiving, but for Jennifer, Joseph and me that meant milking cows, hauling milk, making cheese, shoveling poop, feeding calves & again, finally milking cows. Joseph had his girlfriend up for a well-planned Thanksgiving meal. But things went south, and lucky for Jen & I, we all got to share a nice meal together late that evening. Saturday, Jen and I enjoyed the company of our daughter and her family. Joseph had his folks up for a visit. And Eve entertained us all by giving birth to a beautiful heifer calf in the early afternoon. All were here to witness the little beauty coming into this world. All-in-all, it was a great Thanksgiving weekend.
