A Watchful Eye

This fellow has been keeping an eye on all the comings and goings in the hay barn for the last week or so. He’s been roosting on the jackson fork right at the peak of the barn. From the pile of pellets accumulating underneath, he gets quite busy at night.

Last Day of the Season

Come enjoy the final Harvest Market of the 2012 season this Saturday.

Thanks to all the folks that purchased tickets to this year’s “Dinner on the Farm.” We are looking forward to a fantastic evening with more than 100 guests enjoying some great food and wonderful music. For anyone that missed out on getting tickets to the evening event — you can come to the season closer of Richmond’s Harvest Market at Rockhill and enjoy a Pizza for lunch. Jack’s Wood Fired Oven will be making pizzas during the market and we’ll be listening to Colby Bair and the Dangerous Mood. The market is open from 10 am through 1 pm this Saturday, October 20.

Dinner on the Farm

Come join us under the lights for this year's closer.

It’s that time of year again. We will be celebrating the end to the summer market season with a dinner on the farm Saturday, October 20. We’ll be giving tours and offering a cheese tasting from 4:30 through 6:30 and dinner (by Jack’s Wood Fired Oven) will be available from 5:00 through 7:00 that evening. Robert Linton will be entertaining us with his beautiful guitar playing. Tickets are available on our “Home” page. We will limit ticket sales to the first 100 takers. Menu:

Minestrone soup
Cream of Jalapeno soup
Fire Roasted Tomato soup
Mixed salad greens, with fresh herb dressing

Pizzas:

Margherita – fresh red sauce, fresh mozzarella and fresh basil, topped with parmesan cheese
Harvest Market – EVOO, spinach, leeks, and cremini mushrooms topped with Rockhill Creamery feta cheese.
Chuckwagon – house made BBQ sauce, fresh pineapple, jalapenos, and house smoked pulled pork.
Birds and Bees – Fresh mozzarella, Jacks Mountain chicken and parmesan, topped with Slide Ridge Honey.
